Rene A. Guerette, LCSW
Rene A. Guerette is a therapist in Lakewood, Colorado who specializes in treating children, teens, adults, and families. Rene was born and raised in Maine and has been in Colorado since 2003.
Rene has a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Southern Maine and a Master’s of Social Work from Smith College School of Social Work in Northampton, Massachusetts. Rene’s internship at the University of Colorado at Boulder’s Counseling Center brought her to Colorado in 2003. Following graduation in 2004, Rene worked as a therapist at the Tennyson Center for Children. In 2006, Rene opened a private practice in Lakewood, CO. In addition to serving private clients in Lakewood, Ms. Guerette leads psychotherapeutic groups for adults at The Wellness Treatment Center in Englewood, CO. Rene also enjoys instructing Social Work courses as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Denver’s Graduate School of Social Work.
